Coulee Region Bike Tour

Join us Saturday, May 5, 2012 for the Coulee Region Bike Tours, with your choice of three scenic rides. The Bike Tour is a leisure, noncompetitive, untimed event.
The 2012 Coulee Region Bike Tours have gone through some changes and updates to improve your experience. With our new sponsor, River trail Cycles, we have developed three new routes to better suit all levels of riders. Routed of 5, 32, and 62 miles. With the 62-mile ride, you have the option to ride a 43-mile loop. Fee: $30 day of event.

The COWS Spring Rally will be held in beautiful Port Washington, WI on Friday, May 18 – Sunday, May 20. Enjoy a weekend of scenic cycling with other tandem enthusiasts. Host hotel will be Country Inn and Suites in Port Washington, with a banquet to be held at Nisleits Country Inn about ˝ mile from the hotel. All rides will use portions of the Ozaukee Interurban Trail which consists of 30 miles of paved trail spanning the length of Ozaukee County.

Annual Ride 2012
Waterford Union High School
The Kenosha Racine Bike Club is hosting a recreational ride for all ages to support bicycle advocacy projects, and the Washington Park Velodrome. There are ride distances available for recreational cyclists, novice riders, and racers. Choose between 25, 44, 62, and 100 mile routes for your level of enjoyment or challenge. All routes will have looping segments utilizing a wonderful rest stop at Eagle Lake. The ride takes place on lightly traveled paved roads through the gently rolling countryside of Racine and Kenosha counties. There will be a map and queue sheet for each route, plus on-road markings. GPX files of the route will be available at registration. Entry fees are $25/individual before May 1 ($30/person after May 1-same day registrations are welcomed), with children under 16 riding free with parents. Included are maps, rest stops, and SAG support based at Eagle Lake and accessible by phone. Fee: $30.

In it's 23rd year, the Stevens Point Lactic Edge Triathlon is sure to be just as fun and successful as ever. Adult athletes will swimm 500 yards point-to-point in Bukolt Park, ride about 18 miles in the countryside north of Stevens Point, and run 3.1 miles along the Wisconsin River. Online registration fees: $45 by June 23, $55 by July 12 for individual. On-site registration for Saturday's event will cost $90.

40th Annual Catfish Days

Looking to fill a weekend with more than just a bike ride, Trempealeau is the place to be. This 50-mile ride is held in conjunction with the famous Catfish Day's in downtown Trempealeau. It's always a great time with the fisherman and bikers exchanging stories - the big hill we climbed or the big fish that got away! The ride starts along side the Mighty Mississippi River and travels through Perrot State Park, continuing north into the hills of southern Trempealeau County. Fee: Adults - $20 with proceeds benefiting the Craig Brommerich Memorial.

One of Wisconsin's most popular bike rides, the Scenic Shore 150 is the largest locally organized and supported event for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour is a 2-day, 150 mile, fully supported cycling event that is open to riders of all ages and abilities.
Day 1: Riders pedal 75-miles north from Mequon to Manitowoc then spend the night in Manitowoc.
Day 2: Riders begin the final 75-mile stretch toward Door Country, ending in Sturgeon Bay. Fee: $125.00

We return to the famous 14 turns and sweeping hills of the 4.0 mile Road America race track in Elkhart Lake, WI for the 9th Tour de Road America - Bike Ride to Fight Cancer. B3 Bike Ride

A 100 mile single day, loop ride from the Stevens Point Brewery in Stevens Point, WI to the Red Eye Brewing Company in Wausau, WI to the Central Waters Brewing Company in Amherst, WI and back to the Stevens Point Brewery. Riders must be able to fix their own flats and basic bike problems, as well as finish the entire ride in approximately 10 hours. The B3 Bike Ride provides an opportunity to not only experience the exceptional biking and scenery of central Wisconsin, but to also enjoy some of central Wisconsin’s finest beers. 2012 Ganther Race the Lake

Lake Winnebago... One of the largest inland lakes in the United States and the most popular lake in Wisconsin will be the 90 mile course for the event. This is the LONGEST timed, all citizen bike race in the United States. Yes, and we mean all abilities. You just have to sustain a 12.7 mile per hour pace. We welcome the blending of all cycling lovers, including the professional, triathlete, tandem, recumbent, and recreational cyclist. The 4th annual one-of-a-kind 90 mile bike event travels along the Lake Winnebago shoreline; starting and finishing in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
