Tour de
Trillium

Spring has finally sprung...we're already seeing the flowers bloom along side of the road. This
year marks the 12th annual Tour de Trillium and, as usual, will start and finish
at Sunset Lake County Park, beginning at 9:30 am. Bagels from
Temptation of the Hearth and some refreshments will be on hand and riders are
encouraged to bring other complimentary food/drink items and enjoy hanging out
in the park before and after the ride.
Rides of 15, 30 and 50
miles are planned and maps and cue sheets will be provided.
Note: Remember the Trillium is a
state protected species, so look... no touch! Have a great, safe ride and
remember to share the road!
Things to Remember:
- The course will not be marked on the road.
- You will be responsible for getting yourselves back to the start point. You will need to rely on the map if you fall back from, or get out in front of your group.
- Even though we will be riding on country roads, remaining single file or at most two abreast and on the right side of the road shows respect for motorists, represents our club well and is highly recommended.
- And as always, certified helmets are required to be worn when riding at all Heartland sponsored events.
